My Bio
Hi, and thank you for visiting my dA page!

I'm known as Darth Sunshine and sometimes "Mystic" in the cosplay community. In the "real world" I'm better known as Andrea. I enjoy frantically throwing costumes together during what free time I have during breaks from school.

I'm a huge fan of Star Wars and the Legend of Zelda series. My other "main" fandoms include Harry Potter, Futurama, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Harvest Moon. Most of my costumes come from these series. :)

I've been cosplaying for about eleven years now, and don't intend to stop any time soon!

Hi! Just read your tutorial on body paint. I am cosplaying Oola and so far my makeup tests have not been great. For reel creations (alcohol based) Pam says to do a layer of sponging and then airbrush but you said to skip the layer with the sponge. Thoughts?
Personally, I found that step unhelpful with Reel Creations.  While my water based paints sponged on well, the Reel Creations paints I used did not, so I just skipped ahead to airbrushing those straight on.  However, a different sponge might work better than the ones I had in my kit at the time.  I've heard of some girls using brushes to get their first layer, or all of their alcohol activated make up on.

As always, I'd recommend experimentation and seeing what works well for you! :)
Thank you so much? May I ask what type of sponges you were using?
Just generic foundation wedge sponges.
